Applications are invited for an appointment as part-time research assistant (RA) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (HKU Business School) at The University of Hong Kong. The RA work is hourly paid and working hours can be flexible.
Students from ALL years (including FIRST-year students) can apply.
Applicants should have a strong interest in computer programming, in particular data science and functional programming. Applicants should have prior programming experience in at least one programming language. Prior experience in the Clojure/Lisp programming language is a plus, but is NOT required.
The RA position is about research topics in finance. While prior basic knowledge about finance is advantageous, prior in-depth knowledge in finance is NOT required.
The appointment can start in September 2021 or later. The salary is commensurate with the standard offered by the University of Hong Kong.
